As an individual, there are three ways you can give to your favourite charity through Give As You Earn.
1 The Workplace Charity Fund
The Workplace Charity Fund provides you and your colleagues with an excellent way to raise money collectively for causes both local and national. The funds from the tax-free giving and other fundraising efforts are held by United Trusts and distributed to your chosen causes.
2 Direct Donation
You choose the cause or causes you wish to support via monthly/weekly tax-free donations and they go straight from your gross pay to the charity.
3 Charity Account
You can open a Personal Choice Account with a minimum monthly payment of £10. You will receive a Charity Cheque Book so that you can make donations from your account to any chosen charity at any time (as long as there are enough funds to cover the pledge), by writing out a Charity Cheque.

Registering as an employer costs nothing and Give As You Earn is easy to administer for any payroll. The money comes straight from the employees’ gross pay each month/week to United Trusts via your payroll department and the donations are disbursed monthly straight into the charity’s bank account.
United Trusts generally makes a deduction of 4% from your contributions to help cover some of the cost of administration. Some employers are pleased to cover the cost of administration for their employee
